A mid-century, retro period, 14 karat yellow gold brooch by Tiffany & Company. The cocktail pin features a cushion cut citrine and 13 round mixed cut pink sapphires which combined with the sculpted gold 'ribbon' create a 'spray' of colour, often seen in retro period jewellery. The brooch has developed a rich patina to the yellow gold commensurate with age and use. To the rear of the brooch is a hinged pin and hook clasp with a safety latch which is working well and is secure. This pin is a beautiful example of Retro period jewellery and is manufactured by one of the best in the business!
