This pair of exceptionally bright early 20th Century 'Peking' glass bottle shape vases are a matched pair and date to the beginning of the Chinese Republic era. The pair are a traditional 'bottle' shape and originate in Peking, now known as Beijing, during the first quarter of the 20th Century. The perfectly matched vases are in the most vibrant turquoise colour and given their age are in exceptionally good condition with no chips or cracks in the pair. Peking was known for its high quality enamel and glass and this pair of vases are a testament to the beautiful craftsmanship of the period.
