Tiffany and Co Sterling Tray Presented to General Somervell

A sterling silver tray, or salver, made by Tiffany and Co, which was presented to General Brehon Somervell by The Undersecretary of War on the 15th of March, 1943. The pattern number of the tray is 21743, and was first produced in 1932. The directorship stamp on the back is for John Moore, who was the director of Tiffany and Co from 1907 to 1947.
