19th Century Majolica Dolphin and Shell Compote by Wedgwood

A large 19th Century Wedgwood majolica compote, in the form of two entwined dolphins supporting a nautilus shell with their tails. This refined centrepiece displays a great range of colours typical to majolica ware at the time, such as Monte Carlo and Deep Sea greens, bright Turquoise, and mottled browns.
