18th Century Danish Giltwood Chairs

A suite of four, 18th Century, Danish neoclassical giltwood chairs, attributed to Caspar Frederik Harsdorff. Comprised of a pair of armchairs, and a pair of side chairs; each chair has an oval upholstered backrest carved with ribbon-tied laurel leaves. The armrests are padded and raised on moulded leaf-carved supports, whilst the serpentine-fronted seat carved to match the backrest is raised on circular fluted legs.
